Lovehoney Purchases Reviews Part 1

My next two blog posts will focus on my reviews of most recent purchases from Lovehoney.

Lovehoney Plus Size Fishnet and Lace Suspender Tights (Queen Size)

These are my new favourite item! I only wish I had discovered them before now. I’ve always had issues with stockings and suspenders as they are so fiddly and hard to get on properly but I understand the sex appeal of them. Finding these tights which are basically the same thing but it tights form was a game changer. They are easy to get on and felt thicker than tights so less likely to get a hole or run in easily. The lace detailing at the top makes you feel like you are wearing stockings and not just crotchless tights! A word of advice though, (I found out the hard way – let’s put it down to baby brain!) if you are going to wear any kind of knickers with them, remember to put them on first!! The only small problem I could find with these is that with me being so small height-wise, like with most tights, they were a little long.

Seven ‘til Midnight Plus Size Wine Lace Strappy Bralette (Red 3X/4X)

This was the purchase I was most unsure about. It took me a lot of guts to buy a bralette as obviously with quite large boobs and them having no underwire support, I felt like it was going to be a disaster! However, I took the plunge with this one as I had already bought the matching knickers and thought I just needed to bite the bullet and try it. It looks better on than I thought it would but it could do with some support for the girls (I know this defies the object of a bralette!) The colour and detailing is spectacular and the bralette itself is comfortable and stretchy. The cups are a little on the small side but the longline design aided with covering everything! I will wear this again but I do think however that I will leave future bralette purchases to the smaller boobed amongst us!

Lovehoney Plus Size Treasure Me Red Chemise Set (3X/4X)

I knew this was going to be a relatively safe purchase for me as I already have this same item in a purple and black combination. This was one of the reasons for buying it as I knew it would fit, along with the excuse of me not having anything in red and my purple one making my boobs look stunning! This little number feels great on and clings to your curves in all the right places. It is underwired which gives you confidence in your boobs and the half cups with lace detailing mean that they are in your face without popping out! The matching G-string that comes with it (as I find with most Lovehoney items that come with knickers) is very standard and nothing flashy but does a job. It also comes with removable suspender straps for those who are that way inclined (I wore it with my new suspender tights instead – see photograph) instead and it has a ‘bra style’ fastening and adjustable straps to give you the perfect fit. Well worth the money to make yourself feel confident and sexy in the bedroom!
