Pretty Little Box

I was recently contacted by a lovely lady called Lorraine who has set up a company called Pretty Little Box. They do gorgeous monthly lingerie boxes particularly aimed at women who are sized DD+. Lorraine very kindly offered to send me a box to review for my blog.

When my parcel arrived it was beautifully presented (even down to the font on the address label…no Times New Roman here!). The box itself was very high quality and my lingerie was wrapped in pink tissue paper with a Pretty Little Box sticker holding it in place. Inside, I discovered a note from Lorraine saying she had sent me not one, but two sets of lingerie to try and showcase what PLB can offer its customers. The note also explained the 2 different fragrance bags that were wrapped up with the underwear sets and that they had been chosen to compliment the underwear itself. I could already tell that attention to detail and quality were a massive deal to this growing company and this is always something that makes me more inclined to shop with independent stores rather than larger multi-national companies.

Upon opening the first sheets of tissue paper I found the gorgeous Elomi Morgan in Purple Lily set that I had been lusting after since my last bra fitting a few months ago. I could have cried with happiness! The set was accompanied by a scent called ‘Love Story’. This was delicate and feminine and had made the underwear smell amazing!

In the next wrapping was the Elomi Sachi in black. Another stunner which I have longed for! This set was accompanied by the ‘Cashmere’ scent. Another beautiful yet not overpowering aroma.

Both sets fitted me wonderfully and the excitement I got from not knowing what I was receiving, yet knowing it would fit me was phenomenal. This is now my new favourite way of shopping for lingerie! Gone is the disappointment of going into a store, finding a stunning set and as always, them not doing it in my size.

If this is the quality of every box Lorraine sends out then these boxes certainly are brilliant value for money and I would highly recommend them to all women who have struggled to get gorgeous, well-fitting bras in the past. And best of all, you get them delivered straight to your door! Lorraine truly is a lingerie fairy godmother!

You can tailor your subscription to suit you. There are 3 easy steps to subscribing. Firstly, you answer a short questionnaire about the sort of thing you would like to see arrive in your boxes; your size, what styles you like, what colours etc. Then you choose your subscription length: monthly, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months (the longer you choose, the cheaper it is). And finally, you wait for your first box to arrive! You can also buy individual bras and matching briefs on the shop on their website. They are also currently offering swimwear boxes (which are currently on sale at £35!)
